Oklahoma State University has international students on campus from nearly 120 different countries. In the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, most of the international students are enrolled in graduate programs (Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy). Their backgrounds are tremendously diverse. One wonders how so many different people all selected Oklahoma State University as their University of choice. The challenge of providing them with an educational experience of excellence is one that Oklahoma State University accepts with pride.

The DASNR international student of the week is selected from nominations received from the Department Heads, faculty and staff  within the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. We rotate our selection among academic departments to be able to feature a variety of students and departments. Although we regard all of our students as academically gifted, a high gpa is not a requisite for this award.
